I know, creative title isn't it? (I couldn't think of anything else at the moment...)
Well, here's the inside of the new pocket watch and I got the other day! It took me a bit to actually get the thing open... had to use an old straight razor... but I was so happy when I did! I found out that it's from 1898-ish, which is just so cool. The front of it's awesome as well, since the face is broken. There's this one crack right across the glass, and it looks awesome. We got it as a prop for our upcoming movie, Freak. It's Alice in Wonderland inspired, so we needed a new nice looking pocket watch!
I set it to six o'clock tea time, like it is in the Mad Tea Party in the book. (You can't tell from this angle anyway, but still!) I couldn't resist, since the watch was broken and it reminded me so much of it! Oh yeah, and if you look, that's the Mad Tea Party reflected in the glass. We have a big poster of the Tenniel drawing on the wall. ^^
